Donna Nadeau

Donna Margaret (Axtell) Nadeau, 49, of Philbrook, MN, passed away Thursday, October 10, 2013 at her home with her husband at her side. A visitation will take place Friday, October 18, 2013 from 5-7pm at Brenny Funeral Home in Staples. With funeral service Saturday, October 19, 2013 at 11:00 am at Motley United Methodist Church, lunch to follow. Pastor Greg Ciesluk and Larry Hager officiating.

Donna was the daughter of Margaret (Peggy )& AC Kronenberg, born July 24 1964 in St. Paul, MN. She grew up living in St. Paul with her mother. Even though an only child she never felt that way with 6 younger male cousins. At the age of 16 her mother married AC and she went from being an only child to having 3 step brothers and 3 step sisters and moved to the Staples-Motley area. She graduated from Staples High School in 1982 and moved back down to the metro area. She attended Minneapolis Tech for nursing. She obtained her LPN and began her nursing career with passion. She worked in the kidney dialysis unit for the last 20 years the last 15 with centra care. She married Rick Nadeau on Valentines Day 1994. They moved their family back to the Staples area in 1998. Donna was very involved in anything and everything pertaining to her children. Attending sporting events, music concerts, plays, being a leader for girl scouts, church youth group and family game nights. Upon her children's graduation she liked to keep busy and helped on MANY different groups within the Motley United Methodist Church. She loved to volunteer and helped a lot with the Motley Food Shelf and VBS and Sunday school and looked forward to Relay for life each year. When she did have down time she loved to read, travel to Duluth and split Rock light house, garden, sew, go to movies, watch reality tv. And visit her grandbabies whenever she could! As a grandmother of 5 under 5 they kept her on her toes.

She is survived by her husband Richard Nadeau, daughter Nicole (Jacob) Luedtke and her 2 grandsons Logan and Preston of Shakopee,MN Step-daughter Brittney (Mike) Holm and her 3 stepgranddaughters, Tatiyana, Keiko, Akina of Luck WI, Son Benjamin Enney of Fargo, ND, and step-son Nate Nadeau of Grantsburg WI. As well as her step brothers and sisters; James Kronenberg, Sheridan Arkansas, Kris Kronenberg (Ross Benoit) Clearwater MN, Karol (Travis) Still Sheridan Arkansas, Jessi (Stan) Skornika Eden Valley MN, Mike Kronenberg Motley MN, Mark Kronenberg (Crystal Burchell) St Cloud MN an Aunt Linda Schintz St. Paul and Uncle John (Lynn) Schintz Inver Grove Heights as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her Mother Margaret (Peggy) Kronenberg, Stepfather AC Kronenberg, Grandparents Marie (Pahr) and Edward (Red) Schintz and Aunt Sylvia Schintz
