Donna Giese

Donna Giese (stempf) age 90, transcended this plane Saturday August 31 3:09 pm 2024.

In the comfort of her home in Baxter, MN. Where she was surrounded by love with her family and friends.

 Donna was born to Norman and Georgianna (Johnson) Stempf of Glyndon, MN On December 29th 1933.

The family then moved to Little falls, MN. in 1935

 Her next journey began on August 31st 1949 when she married Joeseph Frank Warta, and from this her legacy of children began.

She gave life to and is survived by her children, Michael Warta (Brainerd, MN.) , Steven Warta (Brainerd, MN.) , James Warta (Wyoming) , Trish DeLine (Baxter, MN) & Jeffery Warta (Missouri)

 Donna loved a day of cards , Bingo & Yahtzee. Her best memories were spending time with her children and all of her many grandchildren. 

Her Hobbies were many and flowed with the seasons, Spring, Summer were her favorites. 

She planted and cared for her gardens, in winter she utilized her online presence to keep everyone in contact and cheerful, 

the door was always open and welcomed family as well as friends with a warm cup of coffee and unconditional love and appreciation.

 Donna is preceded in the afterlife by her parents and only sibling, Patricia Stempf.

 No memorial service will be held per her wishes.

She will be laid to rest with her family at the Darling Cemetary Randall,MN

 Arrangements will be held at the Brenny Family Funeral Chapel, Baxter, MN. Please do not send flowers as per her request.

 (editors note) Donna Darlene Stempf aka (Dusty Donna) aka (Annie Oakley) was a Bombshell of a Firecracker! Full of life, passion, attitude and above all Love!

She had an eclectic taste in music, varying from classical, country, faith and even motown! (Percy sledge / Sam cooke)

My sweet grandmother was firm but fair and above all wanted everyone to love one another and appreciate each day.. 

I love you with all my heart and soul.. A part of me is forever missing and i will miss you
