Donna Campbell

Donna Jean (Lorenz) Campbell, age 85, of Pine River, passed away on May 15, 2021, at her son’s home in Mora, MN, with family by her side. She was born February 10, 1936, to Albert and Betty Lorenz in Alexandria, MN.

Donna graduated from Alexandria High School and attended Macalester College in St. Paul and St. Barnabas School of Nursing in Minneapolis. She married Donald Campbell in 1956. They were married over 60 years and raised two sons together. She loved volunteering at her local food shelf and St. John’s Ladies Guild Thrift Store in Homer, AK, where they lived from 1987 to 2012.

Donna is survived by her son, Daniel Campbell (Rita) of Mora, MN; grandchildren, Carrie Campbell of Mora, Andrew Campbell (Ann Golly) of Brook Park, MN; 3 great grandsons; sister, DiAnn Tulenchik of Pequot Lakes; and brother, Jim Paddock of Brainerd. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald; son, David; her parents; brother, Delbert Lorenz; sisters: Darlene Flategraff, Delores Nelson, Carol Jorgensen; and step parents, Ray and Edna Paddock.

The family asks that memorials in Donna’s memory be given to your local food shelf.

Services will be 11 AM on Wednesday, June 2, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Pine River. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
