Donna Mae Aune

Donna Mae Aune, age 86, passed away peacefully on July 14, 2022, after living with dementia. She was predeceased by her husband, Clarence Aune, in 2009, her young son, Jon Aune, her parents, Olaf and Hazel Syverson, and her brother, Gary Syverson. She is survived by her children Dayle (Paula) Aune, Tim Aune, and JoAnn Aune, seven grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren and her brother, Curtis Syverson.

She was born on November 3, 1935, in Shevlin, MN to Hazel and Olaf Syverson. Donna married her husband, Clarence, in May of 1954. She lived a full life as a farmer’s wife raising her children while running her small Avon business. She loved to garden, craft, bake, flea market and enjoyed outings to the casino with friends. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.

A service to celebrate Donna’s life will be held at Brenny Family Funeral Chapel- 7348 Excelsior Rd. N., Baxter, on Thursday July 28, 2022 beginning at 11:00am. There will be a visitation for friends and family beginning at 10:00am. There will be a family burial service at Bethel Lutheran Cemetery.
