Donald Stumvoll

Donald Stumvoll, 81 of Nisswa passed away on March 29, 2011 in Pequot Lakes. Services for Don will be April 4, 2011 at the Lutheran Church of the Cross in Nisswa at 1:00 PM with Pastor Bruce Hannem officiating. Friends are welcome to gather on Sunday April 3 at the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter from 5:00-7:00 PM and one hour prior to services at the church. Interment will be at Memorial Gardens in Brainerd at a later date.
Don was born December 11, 1929 to Charles and Johanna in Brainerd, MN. He married Ramona (Nonie) Parker on June 9, 1950. Together they farmed and owned Stumvoll Excavating.
He was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Cross and was one of the founders of the Lakeshore Conservation Club and Gull Lake Drifters. Years ago he loved racing cars. He loved trap shooting, snowmobiling, fishing, hunting up North at the Camp and playing cards with family and friends.
Don will be sadly missed by his wife Nonie of 60 years and children, Terry (Sue), Randy, Brian (Penny); Grandchildren David, Richard, Rori, Kristi (Reid) & Aron; great-grandchildren Cody, Breana, Owen, Taylor and Tiffany ; brother Jerry (Shirley). Don was preceded in death by his parents.

Arrangements are entrusted to the Brenny Funeral Chapel of Baxter.
