Donald Masters

Donald Lee Masters, age 92, passed away at his home in Pine River on July 3, 2020. He was born to Lawrence and Leola Josephine Masters on November 12, 1927. He grew up in Pine River and Backus, graduating from Backus High School in 1946.

After a term in the army Donald worked in the cities where he met and married Sylvia Flom. They returned to Pine River for the rest of his life.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents and sister. He is survived by his wife, Sylvia; sister-in-law, Iha (Marvin) France of Pine City, MN; brother-in-law, Jerry Norquist of Lancaster, PA; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Donald will be buried in Pine Ridge Cemetery in Pine River at a private graveside ceremony on July 9, 2020. Arrangements with Kline Funeral Home, Pine River.
