Donald Joseph Kuklok, 60, of Cushing, passed away at his home Saturday, October 26, 2013. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM, Saturday, November 2, 2013 at St. James Catholic Church in Randall with Father Jimmy Joseph officiating. Family and friends are invited to gather Friday evening from 4-7 PM at the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Randall and one hour prior to services at the church on Saturday. Interment will be held in Opole, MN.
Donald was born to Roman and Lucille (Kedrowski) Kuklok on July 9, 1953 in Little Falls, MN. He attended school in Holdingford, MN. Donald married Judy Then in 1975 and they moved to the Lincoln Area where he purchased J&D Gas - n - Bait station and started his family. In the mid 1980s, Donald sold the business and went into his own logging and trucking operation. He later divorced. He later met Diane Kasper in 1993, which has been his partner until his death. He started working for Morey's Seafood in 2005 until he became ill. Don and Diane enjoyed taking vacations - wintering in Caribbean areas. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, trapping, and making homemade wieners. He also liked spending time with the grandchildren and whoever stopped by to visit. Don enjoyed fishing trips to Canada with his boys.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roman and Lucille; brother, Maynard; and infant daughter, Lisa. Donald leaves behind his sons, Ryan (Keri) Kuklok, of Cushing, Aaron (Ashley) Kuklok, of Coon Rapids; significant other, Diane Kasper; Diane's children, Kim Kasper, of Andover, Matt Kasper, of Little Falls, and Kellie Kasper, of Lincoln; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brother, Roman (Joyce) Kuklok, of Opole; sisters, Josephine (Ray) Waletzko, of Avon, Sr. Rosemary Kuklok, of Santa Rosa, CA, Lorraine (Bill) Knoll, of Minneapolis, Diane Jarnot, of Sartell, Karen (Ray) Sowada, of Andover; and many nieces and nephews.
