Donald Harris

Donald G. Harris, 90, passed away in Crosslake, Minnesota. He was born June 16, 1930 in Rockford, Illinois to Donald C. and Eva (Robertson) Harris. He was a graduate of East High School in 1948 and then served in the U.S. Navy from 1948-1952.

In 1954 Donald married Barbara Briggs and enjoyed 55 years with her before her passing in 2009. Donald was employed at Nelson and Storm Tool Supply for 40 years. He was a former member of the Tebala Shrine.

Survivors include son; Duke (Judy) Harris of Remer, Minnesota, daughter; DeAnn (Dan) Block of Thompson Falls, Montana ; six grandchildren; Teresa Harris of Shoreview, Minnesota, Adam Harris of Cissna Park, Illinois, Nathan (Ashley) Block of Thompson Falls, Montana, Sarah (Nigel) McGuire of Plymouth, Minnesota, Callie (Brandon) Piane of Florence, Montana, Stephen Block of Kalispell, Montana and six great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife Barbara, his parents and his great granddaughter Ava.

Arrangements have been entrusted with the Brenny Family Funeral Chapel, Crosslake, Minnesota.
