Donal Vorst

Donal A. Van Vorst, age 90, of Pine River, passed away Wednesday, December 9, 2015, at the Good Samaritan Society, Pine River. He was born to Alton and Ruth Van Vorst on October 21, 1925, in Duluth. Donal served in the Army Air Corp during World War II as a pilot. He enjoyed spending winters in Arizona and was an avid golfer and loved fishing and his family.

Donal is survived by his son, Donald (Joy); daughter, Nancy Toth (Dennis); special friend, Neva Hargreaves; grandchildren: Chad Van Vorst, Robin Potts (Bill), Chad Mileski, Cindy Block (Todd), Brian Toth (Mary); and several great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Joan.

No services will be held. The family requests that no flowers be sent, instead memorials may be sent to the Alzheimer's Association.
