Dona Larson

Dona Mae Larson, 85, of Crosslake, MN died peacefully on Sunday, April 12, 2015 at her home. Memorial services for Dona will be held on Saturday May 16, Brenny Funeral Chapel, Crosslake, MN at 2:00PM with a Gathering starting at 1:00 PM, and luncheon to follow.

Dona was born on September 2, 1929 in Gibbon, MN to Elmer and Florence (Wall)
Olson. She married Curtis Larson in Reno, Nevada on June 20, 1952. Dona was very
active with the Legion Auxiliary for many years, while her husband, Curtis was the
Commander of American Legion Post #500. Dona truly enjoyed being with family
and friends, boating on the Crosslake chain, playing 500, sharing breakfast at
Evergreen Estates, going to bar bingo and the casino with the gang from the Legion.
Dona is survived by her son, David (Jeanne) Larson; brother, Ole Olson; sister-in-law, Bev Lane; grandchildren, Ryan Larson, Don Lennartson, Krista Flag, Lindsey
Larson, Danelle Larson, and Kendra Larson; and great-grandchildren, Zack and Zoey
Lennartson. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Florence;
husband, Curtis; daughter, Gail Larson; one brother, and three sisters. Memorials are
preferred to American Legion Post #500 in Crosslake, MN.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Crosslake, MN.
