Doloris Spilman

Doloris Ann Spilman, age 56, of Monticello, passed away unexpectedly at her home on December 12, 2009. A funeral service is planned for Thursday, December 17, at 1:00 PM at the Motley Free Methodist Church, with Pastor Jim Johnson officiating. Visitation will begin at 11:00 at the church. Doloris was born on September 16, 1953, in Little Falls, MN, to Reginald and Gladys Drew. On October 23, 1971, she was united in marriage to Donald Spilman at the Lutheran Church in Leader, MN. They have resided in Monticello for most of their married life. Doloris is survived by her husband, Donald; son, Matt of Monticello; daughters, Marie (Mark Comstock) Spilman of Oskaloosa, Iowa and Linda (Terry) Schroeder of Big Lake; grandchildren, Tiffany Schroeder and Jayden Comstock; sister, Dorothy Engeseth of Sea Drift, Texas; brother, Ronnie Drew of Storington, Connecticut; and many other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Reginald and Gladys Drew.
