Dolores Bautch

Dolores "Dee" Bautch, 71, of Baxter, MN died Friday, February 19, 2016 at Good Samaritan Society-Woodland in Brainerd, MN. Mass of Christian Burial will be 1:30pm, Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at St. Francis Catholic Church in Brainerd, with Father Blake Rozier officiating. Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation from 5:00-8:00PM, Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter and one hour prior to services at the church. Interment will be at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Waite Park, MN.

Dee was born September 7, 1944 in St. Cloud, MN to Joseph and Mathilda (Paul) Bauer. She graduated from Cathedral High School in St. Cloud. Dee was united in marriage to James Bautch on September 3, 1966 in Sauk Rapids, MN. She was a daycare provider in Waite Park until they moved to the Brainerd Lakes Area in 1987, where she continued her daycare business. Dee enjoyed reading, camping, craft shows, shopping, crossword puzzles, garage sales, but she especially loved her family, grandchildren and the children she provided daycare for.

Dee is survived by her husband, James; children, Lori (Mike) Diederichs of St. Cloud, Kathie (LeRoy) Ailts of Pillager, Sheri (Scott) Zemke of Hugo, Wendy (Lance) Davis of Brainerd, Jay (Callie) Bautch of Brainerd, Tim Bautch of Pillager; sisters, Sharon (Ron) Robbins of Baxter, Kathy (Bob) Lyon of St. Joseph, Jeanne (Chuck) Ahmann of St. Joseph; brother, Gary (Mary) Bauer of Sauk Rapids; and 14 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Mathilda; and daughter, Barbie. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter, MN.
