Diane White, 57, of Crosslake died on Sunday, November 28, 2010. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 3, 2010 from 5:00-7:00 PM at Brenny Funeral Chapel of Crosslake. Services for Diane will be 1:00 PM Saturday, December 4, 2010 at Crosslake Lutheran Church with visitation one hour prior. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel of Crosslake.
Diane was born on March 1, 1953 to Charles and Eunice (Hutton) Banta in Siren, Wisconsin. She was raised in Circle Pines, MN and graduated from Centennial High School. She married Terry Smith after high school and they have a son Brandon. In 1981, she married Tom White who has a daughter Rebecca. Tom and Diane had two daughters together; Jessica and Victoria and raised their family in East Bethel. She was a very devoted mother. She worked at Hewlett Packard and then Anoka County for 17 years as a deputy court administrator. Diane and Tom spent many years in the Crosslake area part time before finally making it their permanent residence six years ago. Diane loved reading and music and pursued her passion of becoming a copy editor. She was able to proof read any document, usually finding an error of some kind. Her love of the English language led her to complete a degree in copy editing. Diane was loyal to her family and friends. She will be remembered by the many lives she touched.
Diane will be sadly missed by her husband of 29 years, Tom; children, Brandon (Bobbi) Smith, Becky (Tony) Park, Jessica (Jason) Knutson, and Victoria White; grandchildren, Rhian, Jack, Mason, and Aaron; mother Eunice (Hutton) Banta, sister Louise (Gordy) Gustafson; Nieces and nephews; Keith, Jennifer, and Chad. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel of Crosslake.
