Diane Godbout

Diane (Kampfer) Godbout, 73, of Brainerd, MN formally of Maplewood, MN, died on December 15, 2013 in Meza, AZ. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2014 at Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter at 11:00AM with visitation one hour prior. Luncheon will follow in the Brenny Funeral Chapel Reception Room.

Diane was born on September 30, 1940 in St. Paul, MN to William and Marguerite Kampfer. She married Raymond Godbout on June 11, 1960 in St. Paul, MN. Diane worked for Nortek until she retired in 2003. She enjoyed sewing, playing cards, and being a member of Sunland Village Ceramic Club. Diane loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband, Raymond; children; Mitchell (Cindi) of Casselton, ND, Dan of Brainerd, MN, Marguerite "Missy" (Mark) Best of Nisswa, MN, and Patty Godbout of Dublin, CA; grandchildren, Brandon, Daniel Jr. Michelle, Michael, Nicole, Tyler, Travis, Brent, Shawna, Chrissy, and Abbie; sister, Donna (Keith) Nord; brother, Daniel Kampfer; sister-in-law, Rhoda Kampfer; and many nieces and nephews. Diane was preceded in death by her parents; brother, David Kampfer; and sister-in-law, Janet Kampfer.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter, MN.
