Devin Alexander

Devin Shawn Alexander, age 18, of Baxter, died Tuesday, January 10, 2017 as the result of an auto accident. He was born December 6, 1998 in Brainerd, MN to Lori White and Chris Alexander.
Devin was a Senior at Pillager High School. He completed Basic Training and was a member of the Army National Guard. Devin enjoyed fishing, ice fishing and bow fishing. He was a member of the Lakes Area Gear Headz. Devin enjoyed spending time with family and friends, he was a lover of nature and treasured the companionship of his dog, Cash. Devin liked to one-up his future brother-in-law, Ben, on his truck. He liked Chevy trucks, especially his truck. Devin was always willing to support or help his friends in any way he could, whether it be sports or helping to work on their trucks. He loved and looked after his sisters and mom.
He was a loving and kind person and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Devin is survived by his mother, Lori White, of Baxter; father, Chris Alexander of Pine River; siblings: Summer Alexander (Ben Dumbeck), Brandie White, Tayler Hoffman and Rachel Hoffman; grandparents, Pete and Linda Alexander; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and other extended family.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Mary White; and great grandfather, Peter Alexander.

Services for Devin will be 11 A.M. on Monday, January 16, at the Pillager High School Gymnasium, Pillager, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Private family burial will be in Bethlehem Cemetery, McKinley Township, MN at a later date. Arrangements with Kline Funeral Home, Pequot Lakes.
