Denver Norris

Denver Laverne Norris, 78, died March 27, 2007 at the Staples Care Center. A memorial gathering will be Friday, March 30, 6-8 pm, at Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter. Private family burial will be at a later date.
Denver was born August 8, 1928 in Aitkin, to Andrew and Margaret Voltz. She worked in the laundry at the state hospital for more than twenty years.

She is survived by her daughter Margie (Deon) Stuart, Brainerd; four grandchildren, Breanna, Denver, Joe, and John; two great-grandchildren, Naomi and Baby Joe; a brother, Melvin; and a sister, Addie. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; three children, Joseph and Nancy Norris and Patty Smith; and five siblings. Services entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel of Baxter.
