Dennis Brusewitz

Dennis "Buzz" Arlen Brusewitz, 72, of Staples, passed away on Thursday, January 3, 2013 at Lakewood Health System Hospital in Staples, MN. A Memorial Service for Dennis will be held on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 from 5:00-7:00PM at the Brenny Funeral Home in Staples, MN.

Dennis was born on September 18, 1940 in Milwaukee, WI to Henrey and Claire Brusewitz. He attended school at Boys Tech in Milwaukee, WI. Dennis married Laura Goatz in Milwaukee, WI in 1981. Dennis worked as a steelworker and served in the United States Coast Guard for over 20 years. He enjoyed the outdoors. Dennis also loved fishing and trapping.

Dennis is survived by his children; Dawn (Millard) Houser of Staples, Dennis of Staples, David (Tanya) Brusewitz of Staples, Diane (Danny Joe) Dukowitz of Staples, and Donald Brusewitz of Staples; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henrey and Claire; wife Laura, sister Kay Lustig, and brother Donald Brusewitz.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Staples, MN.
