Dennis Berg

Dennis H. Berg, 71, of rural Merrifield, died at his home Sunday, January 18, 2009. Services for Dennis will be 11:00 AM, Thursday, January 22 at the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Crosslake. Friends are welcome to gather one hour prior to services. Interment will be at Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery near Camp Ripley.
Dennis was born February 16, 1937 in Montevideo, MN, the son of Bennie and Pearl (Hanson) Berg. After graduating from high school, Dennis enlisted in the US Air Force. He was united in marriage to Nayme DarlaShaw on February 27, 1961. He worked for many years at McGill  Jensen Printing Company where he retired as a foreman. Dennis and Darla moved to rural Merrifield where he lived until his death.

Dennis will be missed by his wife, Nayme Darla; his daughters, Melanie (Rich) Klatt, of Fridley, Mikki Berg, of Blaine, and Marci (Craig) Anderson, of Blaine; granddaughters, Gabby and Dani; grandson, Chance; and his sister, Marti (Mark) Finnegan, of Bloomington. Dennis was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Myron and Leslie.
