Deloris Newmann

Deloris E. Neumann, age 74, of Brainerd, died Wednesday, January 19, 2005 at St. Cloud Hospital. Funeral services will be Monday, January 24, 11 a.m., at Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter, with Captain Gene Harris officiating. Friends may visit Sunday, January 23, 2-4 p.m., at the funeral home. Interment will be at Oakland Cemetery.
Deloris Elaine Callahan was born April 21, 1930 at Norma, ND, to Alvin H. and Inga M. (Paulson) Callahan. At a young age she moved with her parents to the Brainerd area. She was united in marriage to Merral A. Neumann July 23, 1999 in Sisseton, SD. A homemaker for most of her life, she enjoyed making arts and crafts.

Deloris is survived by her husband Merral; four sons, Alvin (Tina) Stuart, Deon (Marge) Stuart, Earl (Cherri) Ruckdaschel, and Elliot Ruckdaschel, all of Brainerd; six sisters, Lorraine Brown, of Bemidji, Betty Turnbull, of Hastings, Carmon Harris, of Florida, Ilene Isle, of Minneapolis, Dolly Collette, of Brainerd, Karen Liebold, of Little Falls; a brother, Jerome Callahan, of Florida; nine grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. Her parents and a sister, Jackie Dillon, preceded her in death.
