Delores Oswald

Delores M. Oswald, 89, of Pequot Lakes, died Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at Essentia Health - St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM, Monday, December 2, 2013 at the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Pequot Lakes. Family and friends are invited to gather one hour prior to services. Interment will be held at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis.

Delores was born December 28, 1923 in Heil, ND, the daughter of Albert R. and Ella (Doering) Zieske. Delores graduated from Gibbon High School. In 1947, she married Arthur Oswald and the couple moved to the Pequot Lakes area in the early 1950s where she worked at the local bank for many years. Delores was a longtime member of Our Savior's Lutheran.

She is survived by her sister, Lyla (Oliver) Freidrichs, of Gibbon; brother, Clifford Zieske, of Gibbon; three nieces; and a nephew. She was preceded indeath by her parents; husband; and an infant sister.
