DeLores V. Ebert, 96, of Baxter, passed away Friday, December 29, 2017 at the St. Cloud Hospital. Memorial Services for DeLores will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, January 15, 2018 at Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter. Family and friends are invited to gather one hour prior to services and to stay for a luncheon to follow at Brenny Funeral Chapel Reception Room. Private Interment at Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery near Camp Ripley.
DeLores was born July 31, 1921, in Pine City, MN, to Richard and Esther (Nelson) Lindquist. She graduated from the Pine City High School and retired from Burlington Northern Railway after 32 years of service. She married Arthur Ebert in Minneapolis on July 17, 1962. After both of them retired, they lived on Roy Lake in Nisswa. Art passed away in 2001 and DeLores moved to Baxter in 2002 and then Brainerd in 2014.
DeLores was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Widowed Friends, Nisswa Women’s Club, NARVRE, BNSF Veterans, and Lakes Area Senior Activity Center.
She is survived by daughter-in-law, Deann, of Nisswa; step-son, Wayne and his wife Ruth, of California; sister-in-law, Louise Lindquist, of Jordan; many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-greatgrandchildren; and other family and friends.
DeLores was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 38 years; brother Clifford and step-son, Douglas.
