Delane Mcnamee

Delane Marie McNamee, 75, of Pequot Lakes, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Sunday, October 24, 2010, at the St. Cloud Hospital. She was born August 12, 1935, in Pine River, the daughter of Edward and Luella (Sletten) Schmidt. After graduating from high school, she married Lowell McNamee on April 7, 1956. After living in Rockford, IL, for 14 years, they moved to their Pequot Lakes home where they farmed until retirement.

Delane is survived by her husband, Lowell; son, Barry McNamee (Angie) of Pequot Lakes; daughters: Vicki Dabill (Brad) of Grand Rapids, Tracy Tulenchik (Bill) of Pequot Lakes; grandchildren: Daniel, Brandon (Jamie), Chelsey, Devon, Jeremy, and Alicia; step grandchildren: Ashley and Ryan; great grandchildren: Owen and Dawson; brothers: Russell, Dale, Darrell; sisters: Sharon, Marion, Maryls and Linda.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters: Bernice, Jean, Delores, Shirley, Patricia; and brother, Richard.

Services will be 1 PM on Thursday, October 28, at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, Pequot Lakes, with Pastor Frank Milo officiating. Burial will be in Gloria Dei Cemetery, rural Pequot Lakes. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 27, from 5 to 7 PM at Kline Funeral Home, Pequot Lakes, and one hour prior to the service at the church.
