Debra Gratton

Debra S. Gratton, 65, of Brainerd died at St. Cloud Hospital on Monday, May 21, 2018. Service arrangements are pending.

Debra was born on November 15, 1952 in Crosby, to Clyde and Josephine (Banks) Palmer. She graduated with a degree in accounting and book keeping. Debra was employed as a postmistress for The United States Postal Service. She enjoyed cooking, baking, painting, and ceramics. Debra loved art and playing classic video games. Her greatest joy was spending time with her children and grandchildren. Debra married Gail “Bing” Gratton on April 9, 1983 in Salmon, ID and they barely spent anytime apart until his death in 2017.

Debra is survived by her children, Tanya Lee McGaffey of Republic, WA, Mary Josephine Williams of Dillon, MT, and Ashley Suzanne Gratton of Brainerd; seven grandchildren; honorary daughter, Loriene Henline; sister-in-law, Rose “Tudy” Mills; and siblings, Gary Palmer, Kenneth Palmer, Dennis Palmer, Steven Palmer, and Mary Jo.
