Dean Traynor

Dean Thomas Traynor, 56, of Merrifield died Monday, November 26, 2007 at his friends home. Funeral Services for Dean will be 12:30 PM, Friday, November 30, 2007 at the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter with Pastor Bob Twiton officiating. There will be a visitation starting one hour prior to services. Interment with Military Honors will be held at Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery near Camp Ripley. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
Dean was born November 25, 1951 in Brainerd, MN, the son of Clare and Lois (Hegstad) Traynor. Dean served in the United States Army where he was awarded numerous medals for his combat and bravery. Following his honorable discharge in 1971, Dean worked various construction jobs. Later in life Dean discovered he had a great passion for gardening and enjoyed competing for the best garden with his friend, Tina. He even created a small orchard. Dean also loved to fish.

He will be missed by his brother, Bill Traynor, of Lyndale, TX; his sister, Debbie Grimler, of Backus, MN; his dear friends and caregivers, Randy and Tina LeBarron; and his nieces and nephews, William Traynor, Brent Grimler, Troy Grimler, Travis Grimler, and Whitney Grimler. Dean was preceded in death by his parents.
