David Watt

David L. Watt, 62, of Pequot Lakes, passed away Wednesday, September 2, 2015. He was born to Walter and Shirley (Hegdahl) Watt on June 22, 1953, in Grand Rapids. David was a Master Mechanic and owned and operated Watt Automotive in Pequot Lakes for 20 years. His shop was a very special place to him. David loved his community. He enjoyed racing motorcycles, cars and snowmobiles. David will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.

David is survived by his daughter, Megan (Jory) Carlson of Breezy Point; son, Nate Watt of Fifty Lakes; step daughter, Michelle Rickard of Brainerd; step son, Mike Armstrong of Jenkins; sister, Linda Bryant of Jenkins; three grandchildren, Jaden, Mason and Cyrus; and many nieces, nephews, family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Bonnie and brother, Billy.

Services will be 11 AM on Friday, September 4, at Pequot Lakes Baptist Church, Pequot Lakes. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in Jenkins Cemetery, Jenkins. Arrangements are with Kline Funeral Home, Pequot Lakes.
