David Waldor

David Daniel Waldor, 62, of Brainerd, died at his home Friday, November 18, 2016. Private services will be held.

David was born April 11, 1954, in Missoula, MT, the son of Peter Butchart and Carol Jean (Randall) Waldor. The family moved to the Napa Valley, CA area and in 1972 David graduated from Capitola High School. He continued his education at Napa Valley Junior and Community College where he earned a degree in Electrical Engineering. He worked as a contractor to various companies in California before moving to the Brainerd Lakes Area in 2000.

David married Elizabeth Garza in 1988. David was an accomplished guitarist and enjoyed old-fashioned country music. He was an avid golfer, baseball player and a great fan, especially of his hometown team - the San Francisco Giants.

David will be missed by his wife, Elizabeth, of Brainerd; son, David Waldor, of Brainerd; mother, Carol Waldor, of Nisswa; siblings, Peter (Karen) Waldor, Jr., of Montrose, CO, Dana Waldor, of Nisswa, Daniel Waldor, of Clear Lake, CA, Gretchen (Kevin) Wittwer, of Pequot Lakes, and Barbara Waldor, of Brainerd; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Peter in 2013.
