David Keep

David Ernest Keep, age 54, of Backus, passed away Wednesday, October 29, 2008. He was born March 27, 1954 in Backus to Clinton and Florence Keep. He married Carolyn Wolske on May 24, 2008.
David worked for the State of Minnesota at Badora State Nursery, Backus, and was a volunteer firefighter for the Backus Fire Department, the Minnesota Forestry Service, and fought fires in many states.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn; children: Shannon Keep of Crosslake, Shawn Keep of Backus; grandchildren: Mikala, Britney, Joey; sister, Vicki Geving (Larry) of Walker; brothers: Danny Keep (Roberta) of Hackensack, Dennis Keep (Rose) of Backus, Duane Keep of Pine River; nieces, nephews and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Services will be 2 PM on Monday, November 3 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Backus, with Pastor Ronald Carnicum officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
