David Husen

David Allen Husen, 59, of Baxter, passed away at his home Sunday, April 9, 2017. Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, April 13, 2017 at Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter. Family and friends are welcome to gather one hour prior to services. Interment at Baxter City Cemetery.

David was born April 8, 1958 in Brookings, SD, the son of Donald and Joan (Christensen) Husen. He moved with his parents to Crosby and Monticello before settling in Baxter where he has been resident until his death. David enjoyed the outdoors – especially hunting, fishing and camping. Most of all, David loved to spend time with his grandson, Hunter.

He will be missed by the love of his life, Monica; daughter, Jennifer (Nate Larson) Husen, of Barnes, WI; son, Ben Husen, of Baxter; brothers, Joel and Wade; and grandson, Hunter. He was preceded in death by his parents.
