David Hasty

David Hasty, age 68, of Backus, passed away Tuesday, February 5, 2013. He was born in Waterloo, Iowa, on May 2, 1944, to Wilma Vernita (Helm) and Emmett Dewey Hasty. David was married to Lori Martin for 18 years and was father to daughter, Melinda Sue Hasty, and son, Shane Ronald Hasty, and grandfather (Papa) to Natalie Rae Hasty. He is also survived by his brothers, Bob, Wayne and Roy Hasty. He was preceded in death by his brother, Don, and sisters, Helen, June and Lois.

David attended Riverview Church in Pine River. He was a Christian and believed in an afterlife with Jesus in Heaven.

Memorial service will be 1 PM on Saturday, February 9, at Riverview Church, Pine River. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
