Darline Wallace

Martha Darline Wallace, age 77, Baxter, died at St. Joseph's Medical Center on April 4, 2011. Known by Darline to everyone, she was born on March 16, 1934, to Dwight and Dorotha Surber. She was an only child. Born and raised in Star City, Indiana, Darline married her high school sweetheart, Jim Wallace on Oct. 4, 1953. Jim and Darline had four sons: Brad (Barb) Wallace, Crosslake, Ben (Shelly) Wallace, Albertville, Bart(Katie) Wallace, Crosslake, Brian (Patty) Wallace, Baxter; and one daughter, Martha, who died at birth. Darline is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, as well as 10 grandchildren, one great grandchild, four dogs and one cat. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband,Jim, and her daughter, Martha. Services will be 11 AM on Friday, April 8, at Grace United Methodist Church, Pequot Lakes. Visitation will be Thursday from 5 to 7 PM at Kline Funeral Home, Pequot Lakes, and one hour prior to the service at the church.
