Darlene Collison, 79, of Motley, MN passed away peacefully Saturday, August 18, 2018 at the Harmony House in Motley. Services for Darlene will be at 11:00AM, Saturday, August 25, 2018 at Motley Free Methodist Church, with Pastor Jim Johnson officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church. Interment will be at Poplar Cemetery near Leader, MN.

Darlene was born April 20, 1939 in Minneapolis, MN to Harold and Hazel (Moshier) Wimperis. She was united in marriage to Russell Collison June 25, 1993 in Reno, NV. Darlene loved gardening, flowers, animals, sewing and crocheting.

Darlene is survived by her husband, Russell; daughter, Denise Shearer; grandsons, Cory (Naomi), Ryan; great grandson, Riley; brother, Donnie Wimperis. She was preceded in death by her parents, and son, Ricky Lay. Services have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Staples, MN.
