Darleen Mushel

Darleen Mushel, 79, of Nisswa, died Wednesday, October 31, 2007 at the St. Josephs Medical Center in Brainerd. Darleens family will honor her privately.
Darleen was born May 20, 1928 in Pine City, MN, the daughter of George and Signe (Johnson) Dlouhy. She was united in marriage to Gerald Mushel May 19, 1969. Darlene earned her nursing degree and worked as a Hospice Director for many years in Crookston and Payson, AZ.

Darleen will be missed by her children, Christopher Mushel, of Portland, TX, Shannon Webster, of Nisswa, MN, Ruth Caudill, of Calisbell, MT, Kathy Kramer, of Seattle, WA, Zona Mushel, of Fisher, MN, and Rose Ployhar, of Idaho; her siblings, Gloria Balsimo, of Milltown, WI, Harley Dlouhy, of St. Croix Falls, WI, Steve Dlouhy, of Two Harbors, MN, and David Dlouhy, of Burns, MN; and her 13 grandchildren. Darleen was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Gerald.
