Darci Stavish, age 52, of Randall, died Wednesday, March 4, 2009 at the St. Cloud Hospital. Funeral service will be on Saturday, March 7, at 1:00 PM with visitation two hours prior to the service, at St. James Catholic Church in Randall, with Father Leo Moenkedick officiating. Interment will be later, at Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery, Little Falls, with a private family gathering. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
Darcia Elma Stavish was born to Carl and Leona (Gearhart) Olen on December 17, 1956, in Little Falls. She was united in marriage to Charles Stavish November 30, 1974. Darci was head cook for Little Falls District 482. She loved cooking and quilting, and was a member of the Prairie Point Quilters and the Ladies Auxiliary of Randall VFW.
Darci is survived by her husband Charles "Chuck", of 34 years; daughter Robin (Doug) Feustel and their children Emily, James, and Hannah of Randall; sons Jesse (Kelly) Stavish and their children Vincent and Vallery of Little Falls, and Bryan (Krista) Stavish and their daughter Lainey of Little Falls; sisters Dawn (Marcel) Bellefuille and their children Tara and Troy of Little Falls, Dana Olen of Little Falls; brother Lyle (Linda) Olen and their children Derrick and Danielle of Eklo, Nevada; and mother-in-law, Louise Stavish of Randall.
Darci is preceded in death by her parents Carl and Leona Olen, brother James Olen, and father-in-law Fritz Stavish.
