Danny Wiese

Danny Wiese, age 62, of Pequot Lakes, passed away Monday, August 26, 2019, at his home. He was born to Eldon “Barney” and Shirley Wiese on May 7, 1957 in Brainerd. Danny served on the Cass County Fair Board, was a supporter of 4-H and helped to build the arena at the fairgrounds. He loved fishing, deer hunting and camping. Danny was a rancher at heart and helped his family manage 45 annual cattle production sales. Family was very important to him. He kept in touch with his family every day and was always there to lend a helping hand.

Danny is survived by his father, Eldon “Barney” Wiese; sons, Dustin Wiese (Katie) and Cody Wiese (Jenna); daughter, Amy Wiese; brother, Richard Wiese (Shirley); sisters, Jeanette Smith (Jerry) and Julie Schermann (Steve); and grandchildren Owen and Levi. He was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley.

Services will be 11 AM on Saturday, August 31, at First Lutheran Church, Pine River. Visitation will also be at First Lutheran Church on Friday from 5 to 8 PM and one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
