Danny Jessen

Danny Robert Jessen, 56, of Little Canada, MN, died Monday, August 15, 2011 at St. John's Hospital in St. Paul, MN. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, August 22 at the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter. Family and friends are invited to gather one hour prior to service. Interment with Military Honors will follow at Baxter City Cemetery.

Danny was born April 6, 1955, in Brainerd, the son of Edwin and Bobby (Milton) Jessen. After graduating high school, Danny enlisted in the US Navy. Following his graduation from the University of Minnesota, Danny worked in sales for National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB). He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was very active within the Big Brother Big Sister Organization.

He is survived by his brothers, Randy (Betty) Jessen, of Baxter and John Jessen, of Baxter; his niece, Colleen Reynolds and her son, Jake, of Brainerd; and his nephew, Robert Jessen, of Brainerd. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edwin and Bobby Jessen.
