Daniel “Danny” Rehberger, 61, of Brainerd, MN passed away unexpectedly from injuries due to a car accident Thursday, December 6, 2018. Services for Danny will be 1:00PM, Saturday, December 15, 2018 at Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter, MN. Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation beginning at 11:00AM until the service.
Danny was born October 30, 1957 in Virginia, MN to James and Garnet (Borders) Rehberger. He grew up in Brainerd. Dan started working when he was 17 in the cement business, and eventually became a contractor for more than 40 years. He and his daughter, Jerra worked together flipping homes. Danny enjoyed baseball, racing motorcycles, race cars, North Central Speedway, he loved dealing in collectibles and being the family “jokester”. He was a “Mama’s boy”, and brought his mom candy bars and donuts every day. Danny had a big generous heart-he was a Big Brother mentor for many years, and he loved his Kinship Partners. He had a big place in his heart for his dogs; especially Bella and Delta.
Danny is survived by his daughter, Jerra; granddaughter, Savaiya; mother, Garnet; siblings, John (JoAnn), Brad, Peggy (Jon), Joanie; many nieces, nephews and other relatives; Matt-who was like a son to him; Kinship Partner, Lincoln; and his beloved dogs. He was preceded in death by his father, James. We will all miss his big personality and his sense of humor immensely.
