Daniel Larson

Daniel James Larson, 27, of Brainerd, MN, was suddenly and tragically taken from us Monday, May 23, 2016. He was an amazing father, fiancé, son, brother, uncle and friend.

Born in Brainerd on November 16, 1988. Dan was skilled in many trades of construction. In his younger years, Dan enjoyed fishing and woodworking with his grandparents. He was an avid BMX racer and was a fan of many sports. He was the biggest Tampa Bay Buccaneers fan in the Midwest. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, but most of all he loved spending time with his son playing dinosaurs and fixing things with their tools.

He will be greatly missed and is survived by his fiancée, Ashley Miller; his son, Daniel James, Jr.; parents, Dawn Larson, Brian and Sandy Larson, and Kelly Reith; siblings, Ashley and John Ostrowski, Hannah Larson, and Tanner Spangler; nieces and nephews, Sadie Mae, Laney, Madison, Zaiden, and Breccan; honorary brother Rick Hackler; many aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Jim and Marge Larson and Irvine and Rosemary Oswald.

Please join them for services at 11 am Saturday, May 28th, 2016 at Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter. We encourage you to wear your favorite sports jersey. Family and friends are invited to visitation Friday evening from 4-7 pm and Saturday one hour prior to the service. There will be lunch following. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made In Care Of Ashley Larson at Mid Minnesota Federal Credit Union. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter.
