Dale Weiss

Dale Lawrence Weiss was born on May 5, 1954, to Fred and Gertrude (Ellis) Weiss in Brainerd, MN. He graduated from Pine River High School in 1972, spent several years out west in Wyoming – a place he loved – before returning to his roots in Pine River. He liked driving fast cars, listening to great music and having fun. He lived his life the way he wanted to the whole damn time, and that’s more than most of us can say. 
He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Gertrude, and brother, Gordy Weiss. He is survived by his children: Jesse Taylor, Mike (Jenna) Weiss, Fred (Nicole) Weiss; grandchildren: Jackson, Lelah, and Kenny; brothers, David (Judy), Walter; sisters, Harriet Travis and Loretta Weiss. 
Dale will leave a lasting legacy in Pine River, and we will think of him whenever we admire the beautiful log work in the Welcome Center and the old Red Pine restaurant and many other places.
Services will be at Kline Funeral Home in Pine River on Wednesday, May 3, at 11 AM, with visitation at 10 AM. There will be a luncheon after the service at the pine River American Legion.
