Dakota Kirkpatrick

Dakota Wayne CodeKirkpatrick, 14, of Brainerd, died at his home Friday, April 3, 2009. Services for Dakota will be 10:00 AM, Friday, April 10, 2009 at Trinity Lutheran Church with Reverend David Holte officiating.
Dakota was born May 24, 1994 in Duluth, MN, the son of Daniel and Kristen (Schug) Kirkpatrick. Dakota was a ninth grade student who enjoyed music, playing in his band and football. He liked to go camping and play video games. He enjoyed spending time with his family.

Dakota will be missed by his parents, Danny and Krissy Kirkpatrick; his sisters, Jessica Kirkpatrick and Jasmine Schug; his maternal grandparents, Wayne Schug, of Costa Rica and Darrow Strouth, of Chisholm; his paternal grandmother, Betty Kirkpatrick, of Deer River; and many friends.

Dakota was preceded in death by his grandfather, William Kirkpatrick.
