Cynthia Gibbs

Cynthia Kay Gibbs of Pine River, MN, passed away at her home on June 18, 2013, after a three and a half year battle with inflammatory breast cancer. Cindy was born in Nebraska and later moved to Colorado where she met her husband, Ron. The two were married in 1966. Cindy enjoyed cooking, singing, sewing, gardening and being with her family. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Cindy is survived by her husband, Ron Gibbs of Pine River; two children: Kerrie Pepin of Backus, Kevin Gibbs of Pine River; two grandchildren: Kendra Sorenson of Brainerd, Kaylee Sorenson of Backus; one great granddaughter, Maya Bock of Brainerd; two sisters: Sue Wooldridge of Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, Cheryl Vanderwyk of Fort Collins, Colorado; and one brother, James Lowell, Jr. of Fort Collins, Colorado.

A memorial service will be held at 3 PM on Sunday, June 23, at Pine Mountain Gospel, Backus. Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers.
