Curtis Lee Ross, 67, of Anchorage, AK, died Monday, July 4, 2011. He was born November 18, 1943, in Brainerd, the son of Virgil and Virginia Ross, of Lake Hubert, MN. After graduating from Farmington High School, he served in Vietnam for three years for the United States Navy. Curtis worked for several years as a supervisor for Amrock in Illinois before returning to Minnesota. He worked a while at the family's Alaska Lodge Resort on Lake Hubert before going to Anchorage where he was employed with the Anchorage Parking Authority for a few years.
Curtis loved and enjoyed the nature and beauty of Alaska for the last 25 years.
He will be missed by his sister, Stacey (Jim) O'Rourke; brother, Craig (Suzanne) Ross; and former wife, Carol Christenson. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Brian Gene.
Family and friends are welcome to gather from 6-8 PM, Thursday, September 1, 2011 at the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter.
