Craig Fallgren, 61, of Crosslake, MN died Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. Services for Craig will be 11:00AM, Thursday, March 17, 2016 at Crosslake Lutheran Church, with Pastor Greg Larsen officiating. Interment will be at Pinewood Cemetery in Crosslake, MN.
Craig was born September 22, 1954 in Two Harbors, MN to Harold and Elnora (Beard) Fallgren. He graduated from Silver Bay High School in 1972. Craig lettered in swimming and football in school. He attended CLC then UMD in accounting. Craig worked for Reserve Mining in the power plant until 1982. He then moved to Beulah, ND and worked for Basin Electric at the Antelope Valley Station. Craig was united in marriage to Kitty Wandrus Gade on August 24, 1996 in Ely, MN. They lived in Hazen, ND until Craig retired in 2010. Craig enjoyed his retirement in Crosslake fishing, hunting, spending time with his family, playing cribbage with his dad, and compiling a history about his family.
Craig is survived by his wife, Kitty; step-children, Mike Wandrus of Brainerd, MN, Heather (Reed) Gade-Fletcher of Crosslake, MN; grandchildren, Colin Wandrus, Dylan Wandrus, Zane Gade, Amelia Gade-Fletcher; siblings, Betty (Bob) Rohlfing of Brainerd, MN, Ronald Fallgren of Benedict, MN, Rick (Pyong) Fallgren of Glenrock, WY, Roberta (Richard) Cosner of Brainerd, MN, Loretta Fallgren of Robbinsdale, MN, Roger (Julie) Fallgren of Aitkin, MN; sister in law, Beth Fallgren of Sturgis, ND. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Elnora Fallgren and brother, Martin Fallgren. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Crosslake, MN.
