Constance McCollum

Constance ?Connie? McCollum, age 46, of Brainerd, Minnesota died Thursday, November 9, 2000. Services will be Monday, November 13, at 11 AM with Reverend David Holte officiating at the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter. Visitation will be Sunday November 12 from 4 ? 6 PM at the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Brainerd. Arrangements are pending with the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter.
Constance ?Connie? McCollum was born August 6, 1954 in Knoxville, Illinois daughter of Glenn and Carole (West) Reed. Connie lived in Galesburg, and Knoxsville Illinois where she grew up and attended school. In 1978 she moved to Kelsey, Minnesota. She was united in marriage to Raymond McCollum on February 7, 1988 in Brainerd. Connie worded at Potlatch where she was a Union Steward. She was active in the DFL, The Eagles Club, and women?s bowling league. Connie enjoyed snowmobiling, fishing, dancing and camping.

Connie is survived by her husband, Ray; 2 sons, Daniel Parks of Brainerd, Raymond McCollum, III at home; 3 daughters, Christina Garza of Texas, Deanna (Allen) Horak of Zimmerman, Minnesota, Melissa McCollum at home; her father Glenn of Rio, Illinois; a sister Vicki Bobbit of Ringtown, Pennsylvania and 1 grandchild. Her mother and a brother preceded her in death.
