Conrad H. Anderson was born on September 8, 1935 in Grygla, MN, to Hilmer and Marie (Bjerken) Anderson. He graduated from high school in Bemidji. He attended Virginia Community College, earning an Associate Degree. He served in the U.S. Air Force, in the Pacific theater, during the Korean conflict. After his honorable discharge, he met and married Sabina, his wife of 33 years. The Andersons moved with their children to Brainerd in 1970. Conrad worked for many years as an Accountant. He also worked at Potlatch and and Coca-Cola. He is remembered as a man who would do anything for his wife and children. He enjoyed reading various periodicals and novels, particularly those by James Michner. He also fished and hunted deer.
Conrad Anderson is survived by his wife Sabina; a daughter Wendy (William) Inman of Seattle; two sons, Conrad ?Andy? (Lisa Protelsch) of Minneapolis, and Chad (Dina Sorenson) of Minneapolis; four sisters, Darlene Buchwitz of Hibbing, Betty Kelman of Champlin Park, Diane Anderson of Grand Rapids, and Barbara (Terry) Casey of Yuma City, CA; two brothers, Gerald Anderson of Grand Rapids, and Ricky Anderson of Minneapolis; and two grandchildren, Fallon, 2, and Jasmine, 3 months. His parents and a sister Carol preceded him in death.
