Connie Lindblad

Constance "Connie" Lindblad, 90, of Brainerd died on Saturday, September 15, 2012 at Good Samaritan Village-Woodland in Brainerd, MN. Funeral services for Connie will be held 10:00 AM, Saturday, September 22, 2012 at Good Samaritan Village-Woodland Chapel with Chaplain Al Klasky officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the chapel.

Connie was born on October 30, 1921 in Hibbing, MN to Arthur and Amy (Johnson) Canton. She moved to Brainerd from LaCrosse, WI in 2006. She was employed by Gunderson Clinic in LaCrosse, WI as a Laboratory Technician. Connie enjoyed knitting, needlepoint, and traveling. She was also an avid golfer.

Connie is survived by her daughter, Sandra (Raymond) Holm of Mission Township, MN; granddaughter, Kristina Holm of Portland, OR and Sonja Parker of Crosslake, MN; and great-granddaughter, Adysen Parker Cook. She is preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Amy; husbands, Bernard Munter and Richard Lindblad; son, Phillip; and sisters, Ruth Rick and Jean Conroy. Memorials are preferred to Richard Lindblad Scholarship Fund, University of LaCrosse or Good Samaritan Village-Woodland, in Brainerd, MN.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter.
