Connie Hurtig

Constance "Connie" Hurtig, 47, of Hardin, Montana, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, August 11, 2010, at the Big Horn County Memorial Hospital in Montana. She was born April 22, 1963, in St. Louis Park, to Donald and Eleanor (Cysewski) Houck. She grew up and received her education in Pequot Lakes. She later received her AA degree from Chief Dull Knife College. Connie married Vincent Hurtig on October 22, 1983 in Pequot Lakes. The couple has made their home in Hardin since 2002.

Connie loved birds and border collies. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Catholic Daughters and the Jailhouse Gallery.

She is survived by her husband Vincent; daughters, Jennifer and Ellen; son, Michael; mother, Ellie Houck; sister, Donna Patton; brothers, David and Donald Houck, Jr. Her father preceded her in death.

Services will be 11 AM on Wednesday, August 18, at St. Alice Catholic Church, Pequot Lakes, with Father George Zeck officiating. Burial will follow at Pequot Lakes City Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5 to 7 PM at Kline Funeral Home, Pequot Lakes, and one hour prior to the service at the church.
