On Wednesday, December 11, 2019, Connie Marie (Crose) Erickson unexpectedly joined her Angels at the age of 69.
Connie was born on August 8, 1950 in Minneapolis MN. to Ralph and Bettie (Colehour) Crose.
She graduated from MPLS Wasburn High school in 1968, moved from Bloomington, MN to Crosslake, MN in 1975. There she raised her children and ran a successful construction company with her husband of 46 years and father of her children.
She was most proud of her children and spending time with her granddaughters brought her great joy. A Sister, who loved her Brothers and became the glue that held the siblings together after the passing of their Mother. She enjoyed time spent with her Nieces and Nephews throughout their lives. Connie maintained high school friendships up to this present day, and a day didn’t go by that she didn’t talk to or see her best friend Doreen. She was incredibly generous and willing to help others.
A true asset and an extraordinary Lions Club Member, Connie served for many years as Secretary as well as President and other board position within the club. She won multiple awards including Member of the Year, the Dream Catcher and the prestigious Melvin Jones award.
Connie always dreamt of learning to fly so earning her pilots license was a milestone for her. She enjoyed crocheting and her bird feeders and she loved living on the lake. Connie always had a dog by her side which she loved to spoil.
Anybody who truly knew Connie knew her hugs came with a bit of sarcasm.
Connie is survived by her daughter Vicki (Todd) Hanson, Her son Andrew (Mickaela) Erickson, Granddaughters McKenna & Tatum Erickson, Brothers, Lawrence (Carol) Crose, Richard (Debra) Crose, James (Janice) Crose, many loved Nieces and Nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, infant brother, Charles; Sister, Barbara.
