Connie Dailey

Connie Dailey was born January 30th, 1947 in Wadena, Minnesota. She grew up in Staples, MN and attended Staples High School where she twirled baton in the marching band. She was baptized and confirmed in Faith Lutheran Church. In 1965, she was married to her high school sweetheart, Jim Dailey. Together, they had four children they raised between several relocations to Omaha, NE, Oklahoma City, and back to Verndale, MN.

Connie worked various jobs throughout her life, but always said that all she ever wanted to do was to be a mother. She was a devoted wife, daughter, mother, and grandmother, always putting everyone she loved first. She enjoyed golfing, and most of all, she loved to read and her visits to the casino.

Connie was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Dailey, father, Don Pavlacky, sister, Donna Klause, and father-in-law, Ed Dailey. She is survived by four children, Jim Dailey, Jr. (Shelley), Brenda Miles (Chris), Roxane Hoover (Dave), and Ginger Fields (Nathan), six grandchildren, Christopher, Ashley, Lacey, Makenna, Lea, and Greg, and two great grandchildren Macie and Greysen, mother, Erma Pavlacky, brother, Butch Pavlacky, sister, Gail Betz, mother-in-law, Esther Dailey, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral Services for Connie will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at Faith Lutheran Church in Staples with Pastor Steve Sveom officiating. Family and friends are welcome to gather Monday evening from 5-7 PM at the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Staples and one hour prior to services at the church on Tuesday. Interment will take place at West Lyons Cemetery near Verndale.
