Connie Cole

Connie R. Cole, 68, of Pillager, died Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at the St. Cloud Hospital. Friends and family may gather from 1-3PM on Friday, March 8 at the Pillager Community Center. Words of Comfort will take place at 1:30 PM.

Connie was born August 29, 1944 in Britton, SD, the daughter of Leonard and Lily (Brown) Anderson. She was united in marriage to Arnold "Tiny" Cole on December 20, 1974. They made their home in Pillager. Connie enjoyed the outdoors and yard work. She liked to dance, crochet, and embroider. She could often be found playing Bingo. Connie was proud and so enjoyed the Fiddler's Contest she and Arnie started in 1984.

"She will be missed by her husband, Arnold "Tiny" Cole; sister, Edith (Ron) Colwill, of Sioux Falls, SD; half-sisters, Pam Burchill and Judy (Duane) Yetterboe; half-brother, Gary (Jenn) Anderson; nephews, Roger, Michael, Jerry and Bill; niece, Sheila; great-nephews, Dan, Daniel, and Christopher; and great-nieces, Anna, EllaMarie, Nanami, and Meredith. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lily and Leonard, and sister, Lucille."
