Claudia Wohl

Claudia Wohl, 76, Merrifield passed away unexpectedly in Nisswa on Friday, August 12, 2016. Funeral services will be Wednesday, August 17, at 11 AM, at Lutheran Church of the Cross in Nisswa. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 16, from 5-8:00 PM at Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter, and one hour prior to the service, at the church. Interment will be at Greenwood Cemetery in Nisswa.

Claudia was born August 26, 1939 in Chicago, IL, to Joseph and Evangeline (Ackland) Kaspar. She moved with her family to Nisswa in the early 1950's. She graduated from Brainerd High School in 1957. Claudia was married to Curtis Wohl on December 5, 1964, in Brainerd. She and Curtis raised their four children on the shores of Lake Edward. Her true passion was fishing. She enjoyed spending time with her family, sewing, garage sales and attending meat raffles.

Claudia is survived by her husband, Curtis; four children, Steve (Joni), of Chaska, Todd (Ronda), of St. Cloud, Jeff (Tracy), of Merrifield, and Becky (Troy) Haukos, of Baxter; 15 grandchildren and step-grandchildren; and a brother, Douglas Kaspar, of Nisswa.
